Vanessa Mei (梅) Crofskey is an interdisciplinary artist and writer currently based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Her work is informed by waterways, pop music, trauma, queerness, race and intimacy,
Vanessa graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts (2017). She currently acts as the Director for Enjoy Contemporary Art Space in Wellington and previously worked as a staff writer and as the Communications Manager for online arts and culture journal The Pantograph Punch. She is a cofounder of Wellbeing Analysis Techniques Limited with Kimmi Rindel and also a collaborating artist with Satellites. Previously she has had roles as a curator of Window Gallery, and as the Producer in Residence at the Basement Theatre. Her most recent collection of poetry is available in AUP New Poets 6, published by Auckland University Press.
